Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager with a background in engineering to oversee the day-to-day operations of our farm resort. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting abilities and technical expertise, particularly in electrical systems, to ensure the seamless functioning of all resort services. Coordinates and leads all projects in the resort. Main responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited, to the following:

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily maintenance, upkeep and functioning of all facilities and grounds in the resort.
  • Oversee all construction and improvements within the property; work closely with the owners, contractors, staff, and government agencies to ensure compliance and successful execution of projects.
  • Ensure all resort facilities, including electrical systems, plumbing, internet, generator, water pumps, swimming pools, and other systems, are operating efficiently.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks to identify and address any issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with farm staff to perform repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Must also be able to effectively delegate/assign tasks accurately to staff to optimize workflow and ensure timely completion of projects. 
  • Develop preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity of equipment, furniture and facilities.
  • Conduct routine inventory of supplies to maintain adequate stock levels and support smooth operations across the resort.
  • Implement measures to enhance the overall guest experience and exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or any related field
  • Proven experience in construction or in maintenance within the hospitality industry, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.
  • Strong technical skills with expertise in troubleshooting electrical systems and other mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to build trust and relationships with all levels of employees.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think independently, possess good judgment, proven problem-solving skills and effective decision-making skills.

Guest Relations Officer

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Guest Relations Officer to join our team at our farm resort business. The Guest Relations Officer will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing guest inquiries and requests, and fostering positive relationships with visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and a genuine interest in promoting our farm resort offerings.


Responsibilities

  • Increase sales of both weddings and accommodations.
  • Welcome guests upon arrival and provide them with information about our farm resort amenities, activities, and services.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with various departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve any issues that may arise during their stay.
  • Assist guests with booking accommodations and recreational activities
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote special events, packages, and promotions to guests.
  • Collect guest feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the guest experience.
  • Keep accurate records of guest interactions, reservations, and inquiries using our reservation system.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures while delivering exceptional service to guests. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the farm resort, including accommodation, dining, and recreational facilities.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of any 4 year course
  • Previous experience in hospitality, guest relations, or customer service roles is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with guests.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with reservation management.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
